how do i book you?
You can either fill out the contact form under the "Book Me" tab above, or email me at ashlanmassephoto@gmail.com. I will then get back to you as soon as possible to discuss details. Once all details have been provided, I will send you an agreement that we will go over and sign. I require a non-refundable retainer for each wedding/elopement or session in order to reserve your date. Once everything is set, I am all yours!
do you provide payment plans?
Yes, of course! I require a non-refundable retainer in order to reserve the date. Afterwards, the remaining balance must be paid in full before the due date set. You can pay in as many or as few payments as you like before the date discussed.
do you travel?
Definitely! I am happily available for travel anywhere you like. Portrait sessions outside of the Metro Colorado area will be quoted for travel and/or gas. Wedding and elopement packages include travel costs.
what should i wear?
I'm happy you asked! I find that neutral colors are best for sessions, especially when doing a family session. Too many patterns and bright colors can be distracting and take away from the image as a whole. You do not need to all match, but coordinating colors are great! If there is a mixture of neutral colors and few patterns, the image will look beautiful. This is, of course, only a suggestion. You are more than welcome to wear anything you choose to wear.
where should i have my session?
Think greens! Greenery is beautiful for photographs. Again, you can choose to have your session anywhere you choose. Speaking from experience, greens and neutral colored backgrounds (ex. parks, mountains, beaches, etc.) are always great. They help to bring you more into focus. If you have no idea where to have your session, please don't hesitate to let me know and I will be more than happy to give you a few places I love to choose from. Also, mornings and late afternoons are always best for photographs. That way the sunlight is not so harsh. If those times do not work for you, that is no problem at all. I am very flexible and can coordinate with you on a time and location.
what if the weather does not cooperate?
If the weather is not cooperating on the day of your session, I will help you reschedule it for another day we are both available. Don't worry, we will definitely get you all set no matter what! I want you to enjoy your session and have fun with it. Do not feel pressured to be rushed or to have your session on a particular day. Like I said, I am flexible and can work with you on anything.
